Normally, you accelerate by twisting the throttle grip, on the right of the handlebar, but optionally, the method of acceleration can also be adjusted. This can also be done (optionally) with a thumb throttle (left or right) or with an accelerator pedal (left or right). This makes the Forty-5 suitable for everyone.

You can unlock the seat with armrests and slide it backward. This creates a new seating position that you can easily fold out. Thus, the Forty-5 four-wheel mobility scooter is suitable for 2 people.

Optionally, the seat can also be upgraded to a (swivel) comfort seat. The swivel function is an extra option only available with the comfort seat. The comfort seat is made of even higher quality materials and offers even more adjustment possibilities.

When a seat is rotatable, it also becomes possible to get on and off from the side. Ideal for people with joint problems.

Smart Extras & Features

In addition to the standard case included on the back of the seat, there is also a glove compartment for small items. The glove compartment is also equipped with a USB connection. Safety & Visibility

The For Motion Forty-5 is equipped with disc brakes all around. The disc brakes are hydraulically operated. Hydraulic means with the help of oil pressure, which has a major advantage. This makes the braking system not only extremely powerful, but you can also operate the brakes with minimal effort.

Optionally, you can have the standard brake controls on the handlebar (brake levers) modified to add, for example, a brake pedal (foot brake) to brake with. Slowing down the four-wheel mobility scooter and bringing it to a stop from 45 km/h to 0 is effortless. The braking distance is even shorter than many other mobility scooters.
